Involved in the silvicultural industry for the past 7 years, Jesse has been an integral part of Rhino Reforestation since its inception. Off season, she spends her time traveling and playing the guitar.

Claudio Espinoza

Claudio started his forestry career in British Columbia planting trees in 1990. He gained expertise in all aspects silviculture – specifically brushing, spacing, surveys and herbicide application.
Over the last 2 decades, Claudio brings extensive silviculture and vegetation management experience to Rhino Reforestation. He has worked as a planter, crew leader and supervisor – overseeing both technical and large-scale treeplanting projects. In addition, he has worked closely with woodlot license holders, First Nations and other stakeholders including range and recreation tenure holders.

For the last 25 years, Daren has been involved in the forest industry – ranging anywhere from silviculture to logging. The work he has done for Rhino Reforestation includes camp supervision and cone collection.

Involved in tree planting for the last decade, Mark’s work has taken him across British Columbia and Alberta. Working with Rhino Reforestation since its inception, Mark has worked as a foreman since 2011. When he is not working during the planting season, he plays in the band Throat Kick.

Ryan has been in silviculture for the past decade specializing in tree planting, brushing and spacing, cone collection and surveying. He has been an integral part of Rhino Reforestation since day one. In the summer, Ryan works as a tree planting foreman, but also manages the brushing and cone picking program off season.

Riley has worked with Rhino Reforestation since its inception in 2006. This motivating and hard working foreman inspires his crews to perform at top level. Off season, he plays the drums for the band, Throat Kick.

Kara first started tree-planting with Rhino Reforestation in 2006. She has maintained a high standard of tree quality and a personal belief that it takes the exact same amount of time to plant a good tree as it does a bad tree. She was trained by one of the industry’s finest tree quality inspectors which resulted in a strong work ethic and knowledge of tree quality standards. She lives in Toronto druing the off-season and teaches fitness.

Originally from Ontario, Nick has planted trees across Canada. Working year-round for Rhino Reforestation, he manages the warehouses, supervises camps, and facilitates a cone collection program during the winter months.
